Supported Birth Childbirth classes educate pregnant people and their support teams to make conscious choices about the birth of their baby based on a combination of technical knowledge, confidence in the natural biological process of birth and different pain coping tools and techniques. Class attendees will understand the importance of a birthing person's need to feel safe and nurtured in their birthing environment.

This class covers stages of labor, pain coping techniques, medications and cesareans but differs from other childbirth classes as it is taught in an interactive and personalized way where class attendees participate in discussions as opposed to only listening to lectures and will use self-exploration to come out of class feeling empowered and positive about birth by learning there is no one "right way" to give birth. This class is especially good for those who have fears about giving birth.

Class length: Total 6 hours - 2 week-nights - each 3 hours long

Enrollment Price: $400 for 2 people

In the event there are fewer than 3 enrollments for this class, the class will be moved to Zoom. You will be notified 48 hours prior to the class as to whether it will be in-person or on Zoom.  With smaller enrollment, the length of class will be shorter. Class will be a total of 4 hours long - 2 evenings from 6-8pm as there are always fewer questions with fewer people.
